My 23rd Birthday & Graduation

So much for killing to birds with one stone or a double whammy! May 30th 2013 was both my college graduation and 23rd birthday all in one day, and it turned out great!!! Better than last year if I had to say myself, it was long ceremony but afterwards was fantastic for me. including getting a special something in the mail from my sweetheart Marine, and he's no longer overseas, he's state side, yay!!! So I got a birthday gift from him in the mail, and he remembered me!!! Which last year or before that and holidays I can't say he had remembered, but this really made everything much better for me, it showed a lot of love from miles a part! He purchased my gift and remembered while celebrating his very own May 3rd at Six Flags around his new stationed area, that showed a lot. Although, when he was overseas for a couple of years and he was working hard of course it may slipped his mind, I know it wasn't on purpose though. And now that he is state side and hasn't really gotten involved with piles of work, he was able to remember my special day, ALL DAY!!! It really meant so
much to me, and I didn't have to ask, remind or tell him what I wanted, he guessed all on his own of something I seemed to like, and of course I DID!!! =) Also, during my special day, he wanted to be the first to announce his love onto my social network page and
that just make everything even greater than it already had begun to be with the gift I got from him in the mail. So0 much better than last year and years before, including spending it with my family all day long, although it was a massive heatwave which I almost passed out during my college ceremony with a crazy migraine, it was worth it afterwards when I went out to eat and watched a movie that i wanted to see, and much needed gifts, gifts, GIFTS!!! Just a little support goes a long way, Thank you to my family and my loving fiance

Leave Part II

It took a while for me to do it, but after I completed it, waiting for it to be delivered and seeing how my creativity turned out... was making me anxious!!! Eventually, I got it in the mail, and it turned out great!!! A HOMECOMING BANNER <3 And now the next part is to wait until he comes home, for a small homecoming that I had planned for him since I haven't done one for him since the first time he came home back last summer of 2012. This time around it will be around spring 2013, YAY!!!

Because I "CARE" Packages

It was my Marines birthday May 2012, I believe and I wanted to do something different and special that he would remember and love. So I wrapped all of his things I was going to send him, snacks, and such... and decorated the priority box the best way possible, to WOW him. With hand written meaningful words to motivate him some more while he is overseas. Looked more like gifts, if you asked me, but like I said all edible snacks hidden inside these gift wrapping papers, tired with birthday string, with paper stock glues all around the inside of the box. And I sure did, his reaction was priceless, and also this was my first attempt of doing all of this, I seem to think I've done well myself.

Yet, after this I kept up with decorating each care package, because not only did it bring joy to him every time he received one, but also I just love arts & crafts. There are other packages decorated with sticky paper in checkered board form, and I included white & black chess pieces along two sides. And always adding " I Love You, I Miss You" to almost each box sent. While trying out a "cookie monster package," "movie, peace & quiet package," "healthy package," (that didn't work out so good. He's all about his junk food while overseas, ha.), "Happy Birthday package," "Christmas package," (with a candy tree, I got the idea from Pinterest), etc.

I never forget to always include his Pop tarts, because like he says, "you can never get tired of Pop tarts." As well as, all his other favorite snacks, chips and dip, baby food (oatmeal and sauces), fruit cups, cookies of all kinds, cake-in-a-jar, Barilla Pastas, wipes, tissues, earphones, batteries, strawberry shortcake snacks, etc. But in the end, it is all worth it to me just to hear and see his reactions every single time something is sent his way!!
